Arctostaphylos uva-ursi Leaves Extract used to treat urinary tract infections (UTIs) and cystitis (bladder inflammation), it contains tannins that have astringent effects, helping to shrink and tighten mucous membranes in the body. In turn, that helps reduce inflammation and fight infection. Orthosiphon stamineus Leaves Extract increase the loss of body water through the urine (diuretic effect), stop spasms, and help fight bacteria. Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Fruit Extract has been used for the treatment and prophylaxis of urinary tract infections. Berberis Vulgaris root extract used for kidney, urinary tract, and gastrointestinal (GI) tract discomforts. Diluted honey stops some common bacteria from forming sticky, hard-to-remove layers on surfaces such as plastic. In theory, a honey solution might be useful for flushing urinary catheters to keep them clean while they remain in the bladder.
